About Post Script Philosophy
Post Script Philosophy can be classed as a Christian Post-Hardcore band, who strive for emotive lyrics and tunes that make you want to jump around. Post Script Philosophy formed in Newcastle at the beginning of 2005 and since then has been playing show regularly both in Newcastle and in Sydney.
Since the bands first performance in front of 250 people at the Cambridge Hotel back in April 2005, the band has gone onto bigger and better shows including headlining spots at The Great Northern Hotel, The Undaground (Sydney) and The Cambridge Hotel; as well as performances at other Newcastle and Sydney venues.
With Post Script Philosophy playing regularly, and building a rapidly increasing fan base, it was time for the band to record their first studio demo. The Post Script Philosophy EP has just been released which includes four original tracks written and performed by the band. The band sold out of their first pressing of 200 EPs within a month
Halfway through 2006, Post Script Philosophy went through a major change - jumping from a four piece to a five piece. In the same process, Post Script Philosophy's original drummer was replaced, and a new guitarist joined the band.
2006 is shaping up to be a HUGE year for Post Script Philosophy, with a list of shows in the works and a new EP on the way.
